Recently, I've been thinking about getting off of my phone. Away from Instagram and Youtube (which are the most used apps on my phone on a day to day basis).

I'm not one to constantly post on Instagram. I used to. But then I found it useless to continuously post selfies and other pictures there. It's nice to have the likes and all that, but in the end my profile is private and it's all just the same people who's liking it anyways. I've lost my reasoning as to why I initially had it.

I use it to doomscroll and send reels to my friends, but that's mainly it. If I'm not on Instagram, then I'm on Youtube trying to find a video to fill in the background. That's it. Background noise. And then I'm on Instagram at the same time while that video is playing.

I want to spend less time on my phone. I was thinking maybe using my laptop for more instead of just school will help me. After all, I enjoy typing. I also have a journal to handwrite in, however I've been slow on that and sometimes my mind runs faster than my hands.
