To Be Productive
There's many social media posts about being productive whether in terms of studying, self care, or making money. At least these three are the main ones I've seen.
These are my opinions based on what I usually encounter.
- Studying: How to study smarter and take less times doing notes by recording lectures and using AI to make the notes for you (these are usually ads to promote AI systems)
- Self care: Reading, taking up hobbies, skin care, etc. However a lot of these end up being overconsumption and not actually end up being about taking care of yourself. Also some people and podcasters who give advice on how to love yourself are sometimes toxic like only being friends who also takes care of them (for the most part is talking superficially about looks)
- Making money: How to be your own boss, how to make money in the least amount of time, "if you're not making money, you're lazy" mindset. While yes, it's important to make money to be able to live a stable life, alot of the people who give out these advices are usually nepo babies.
It's important to be productive, it's what helps you feel motivated, survive, and find meaning.
Although, I also think it's important to be able to have slower days. Those types of days can help refuel you from your stress. Even if it's not a full day, at least being able to take some time to relax is still something.
To constantly stress over on how to be productive, not feeling productive enough, is gonna be the opposite effect. You'll feel more burnt out and lose focus on your goals.
